Funke Akindele :JENIFA

 Akindele Olufunke Ayotunde popularly known as Funke Akindele is a Nigerian actress. She was born on August 24, 1976 in Ikorodu, Lagos State, Nigeria. She worked in a television before switching to cinema becoming known for her starring role in the family-oriented Nigerian television show I need to know.

Funke Akindele  won the African Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role in 2009. 

She has a law degree from the University of Lagos and OND in Mass Communication from the Ogun State Polytechnic.

She got married to Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede on May 26, 2012. Her marriage to Kehinde ended in July 2013.
