After many years with your spouse, the
life you once dreamed of living can become . . . well, dull. It might be a hard
thing to accept, but the feeling of "routine" doesn't have to last
forever.
The first thing that temporarily leaves a
marriage is sex. And let's face it - all couples want to have lasting,
passionate sex. It may be an embarrassing thing to admit, but it's true. And
after years of marriage, you're going to be looking for ways to spice up your
sex life, instead of feeling like having sex is a job. You can try different
"techniques," or different times and places, and while that may make
your sex more exciting, it isn't going to make it more passionate.
Scientists, of all people, have
discovered that many foods, called aphrodisiacs,
can actually promote a healthy sexual lifestyle, one where your sex drive and
routine are "regular." If
you're looking for that special spark to rekindle your romance with your lover,
there are a few certain foods that will help you out.
The biggest aphrodisiac, and the one
that's helped out my love life the most, is chocolate. Chocolatehas
the chemicals, like serotonin, that helps to stimulate the pleasure centers in
the brain. Similar to sex, it makes you happy, and is known to increase the
sexual desire in a human being. Dark chocolate, because of its high cocoa
content, makes for a natural stimulant for sex in the brain. Whether this is
true or not, chocolate has always been a sexy food to eat.
Seafood is another natural aphrodisiac.
Now I've heard this for several reasons: for one, seafood, like oysters,
resembles a certain female sex organ, which in part stimulates the brain. But,
the chemicals in seafood also increase your sex drive. Salads are also used to
rev up sex drives, as they not only promote a healthy lifestyle, but they
increase your natural libido when taken in.
Spices, when added to any dish, also make
a person feel sexy. They get the heart pumping, something you need for sexual
activity. Many seeds also release a sex enzyme when eaten, one needed for a healthy
sex cycle.
Another big aphrodisiac: fruits and
vegetables. These are some of the healthiest foods on the food pyramid. So, not
only will you be eating healthy, you'll be sprucing up your rather-boring sex
life. Celery is one of the well-known foods for this. It contains a male
hormone, which triggers female attraction. A celery stick will have you wanting
sex in no time!
Bananas are also a good food you may want
to eat when wanting some excitement, and not just because of the reason you may
be thinking of. They contain B vitamins, which turn carbohydrates into energy.
They also help to manufacture sex hormones in the body, and will have you
monkeying around in no time!
Sex is an important part of a marriage.
Without sex, your marriage will be boring. It's important to keep your sex
lively and exciting, and eating many of these foods will help to do so, by
stimulating your sex drive and getting you ready for a night of fun, while
keeping your lifestyle healthy
